Code of Conduct
For 14 years, re:publica stands for diversity in an open society. This applies also for re:publica in digital exile. Because for us it goes without saying that no one should be discriminated on the basis of age, gender, appearance, sexual orientation, physical or mental abilities, skin colour, origin or religion.
Support us and be active in ensuring that also our discussions in the digitale world fully reflect this openness in all its variants. Treat others with respect and help create a good atmosphere for open conversation. This includes your comments and posts on blogs, websites, the twittersphere and other social networks.
We subscribe to a reflective, moderate demeanour and interaction with others and hope to be treated the same by you. Please act responsibly on all platforms and practice de-escalation before conflicts arise. We do not tolerate any form of hate, defamation, intimidation, threats, patronising comments or behaviour and will respond to any incidents accordingly.
Help to make everyone feel safe in our digitale discussion rooms and do not hesitate to approach the re:publica team and our host and moderators if you need help or support. Troublemakers will be reprimanded and we reserve the right to exclude them from our digitale discussion rooms. If someone feels unduly accused or unfairly treated, they should turn to us and we will try to mediate the matter with all involved parties.
Any questions? More on this and other information can be found through our FAQ. If you have any other issues to bring up, you can reach us via feedback@re-publica.com
